Marriage Retreat at

Paradise Meadows

Summer 2025 (Dates to be determined)

You are invited to join us, Brett and Lyn Johnson, and a small group of couples (5) for a Paradise Meadows Marriage Retreat!

The purpose of the Retreat is to provide:

  • an opportunity to learn more about creating a “kingdom marriage” that is loving, healthy and can impact the world.

  • a “prepared place” where couples can be surrounded by beauty, order and creativity.

  • a “set apart” time to slow down, relax and be refreshed.

  • a community of like-minded couples who will listen and discover together how to implement these truths.

Where will the Retreat be?

We will gather at our property in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, just 30 minutes out of Chattanooga. We will host this weekend in our Scandinavian style Farmhouse that sits on two acres of meadows and trees, adjacent to a 40 acre farm.

Meals will be served at the Farmhouse and also in our own home, a five minute walk away.

Five couples can be accommodated in our adorable, retro Tiny House, the art-filled bedrooms of our Farmhouse and in our glamping tent.

Guests who register first will be able to select their choice of accommodation.

Those who wish to have something more “fancy” are welcome to find their own accommodation in Chattanooga which is 30 minutes away.

What recent attendees said:

  • The LEMON for Lovers course was surely one of the best ways my wife and I had ever spent time since we got married 31 years ago.

  • The LEMON profiling as a back drop to prioritizing and communication in a marriage is such a helpful ‘scene setting’. This helps translate and ensure that what is said is heard, and what is heard was actually said. Loved it, and especially loved the time away with my amazing wife

  • I felt God's presence and left rested, welcomed.

  • It's a weekend to get out of your routine and have a spiritual and lighthearted getaway. We had fun and were ministered to.

  • An amazing way to learn and be lavished upon by God.

We will use Brett’s LEMON for Lovers book as the basis of the content for the weekend. Each person will take a LEMON assessment beforehand as this will give insight and lead to very fruitful discussions.

The retreat has been designed with times of sharing and the opportunity for couples to connect and process the information together.

We trust this weekend will give couples an opportunity to step into peace as we allow our hearts to enjoy the beauty and quiet at Paradise Meadows.

This will be the perfect opportunity to be refreshed and to discover keys to your future effectiveness together,
