Paradise Meadows Winter Weekend

Lyn in snow
  • Do you regularly feel depleted after the holidays?

  • Wonder when you’ll have some free moments for yourself?

  • Need to set aside time to think and pray through the coming year?

  • Desire to connect more deeply with other women in prayer and fellowship?

You are invited to join me (Lyn Johnson) and a small group of women for our inaugural Paradise Meadows Winter Weekend!

For these two days, you won’t have to plan, cook, clean or even think about what needs to be done next. All you’ll need to decide is where you’ll snuggle up with your tea to read and journal for the next couple of hours! And whether you’ll be drinking white or red wine with dinner!

This will be the perfect opportunity to get rested and refreshed after the busy holiday season and an excellent opportunity to quietly prepare for the new year.

The retreat will be held at our property in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, just 30 minutes out of Chattanooga. We will host this weekend in our newly remodeled (more like re-built) Scandinavian style Farmhouse that sits on two acres of meadows and trees, adjacent to a 40 acre farm. It will be cold, but may not be snowy (although snow would be a real treat!)

Meals will be served at the Farmhouse and also in front of the fire in our own home, a five minute walk away.

Ten women can be accommodated (two per room) in our adorable, retro Tiny House, the art-filled bedrooms of our Farmhouse and in our own home.

Guests who register first will be able to select their room of choice.

The purpose of the Winter Retreat is to provide:

  • a “prepared place” where women can be surrounded by beauty, order and creativity.

  • a “set apart” time to slow down, relax and be refreshed.

  • a community of like-minded women who will listen, share and pray.

  • Storytime when we will impart hope and encouragement to each other.

Agenda/A very fluid, chill outline. (Note- We’re on Eastern Time.)

How to book:

In order to book out our rental accommodation and to make the weekend fun for everyone, I will need to have at least 8 people sign up to attend. Please email me, Lyn, at Lynj@inst.net and let me know if you are interested in coming. If I have enough interest by the end of November, I will contact people again with a link to book.

You are welcome to share this information with family and friends who you know would love the treat of a weekend just for themselves. It could even be a Christmas gift you give to others or yourself!
